Home Stretch

As everyone knows next week is finals week. I for one am busy as heck finishing projects heh. I just want to tell you that I'm proud of all of you. I know everyone has worked hard this semester. The only advice I can give for finals is relax!! Do not stress over them. Just Study and get rest. Walk into those tests laid back but prepared and you'll do great :). Also make sure you get registration done for the spring 2010 semester. Classes are filling quickly so hurry. Also for any of you that will be graduating next semester with your associates and are currently deciding on a major to pursue, I'd like to remind you that we are offering a new major for the 2010-2011 school year: A Bachelor's in Social work. If interested please see Sam asap. Again I wish all of you the best of luck! We will be providing brain food Tuesday as a student appreciation gift :) I'm out.

Recruitment push

For the next few weeks I am really pushing recruitment. If you haven't picked up your 1 for 1 packet yet please do so. I did a recruitment booth at city market the other day with mild success. I am also trying to do a radio advertisment for us too as well as plan some end of semester student activity. Any ideas just let me know :). Other wise talk to your friends!! Beginning next fall by the way, we are adding two new bachelor's degrees: Parks and recreation management and Social work. If any of these interest you let Sam know so you can get these prerequiste classes out of the way. Until next time, I'm out.

far too long

Well it seems I haven't made a post in far too long. It's been hectic. In any event I am back. On the weekend of November 13 and 14th we will be holding a recruitment booth outside of City Market in an effort to bring people in for Spring semester. If anyone is able to help, pl,ease come see me asap. Otherwise I am beginning to look at end of the semester student activity ideas.

On Vacation

Anybody that needsrto reach me, I'm still in Florida. Just send me an email though :). I really have nothing to report except for please take an oppurtunity to pick up a recruitment package at the front desk. Its very important that you the student take ahold of this challenge I have set forth. The only ones that truly have the power to build our school is you. Also we are going to be going bowling as a student activity at the end of the month. I'm still working the details and will be communicating with Sam planning this while I'm out here on the beach hehe. I look forward to seeing all of you when I return. I'm out.

Reading Material and activity ideas

I have posted a letter to all the students at the front desk to read. Its something that I have wanted to share with each and everyone of you. I also posted an activity idea sheet. Please feel free to write down any ideas you may have for an activity :). We will be having one for all students on the last week of October. Again please read the letter I have posted, its on a very important subject, a subject that only you the student has the power to act upon. Til next time, I'm out.

one third of the way done

So we are now entering into week 5. What thaat means is that we are offically a third of the way done. Expect exams in your classes lol. We are planning some interesting things. A student activity for next month is in the works as well as a recruitment activity as part of the one for one challenge. I think we might be sneaking some food in next week for you too :). until next time, I'm out
